Why not simply create a meeting that last as long as the renovations? Enable the AD account and then logon into OWA with this account. Switch to Options|Resource. here you can specify only a user or a user group can book this resource (you may leave the user name blank in this option), and then leave a message indicating why it is not available for example the renovations. Using this way, you user will receive a reject email message when they try to book this roo. Hope it is helpful.Fiona
